Our customer, an international, technical company in industrial technology, needs reinforcement. We are looking for a competent and innovative personality as a
Head of Sales Power Transmission & Distribution (m/f/d), 100%
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and support the worldwide sales organization in order to accomplish the PTD quantitative and strategic targets
- Establish sales objectives (Budget, Forecasts) and assists in the development of the business plan
- Shape and develop the international sales organization needed to scale revenue to the next level
- Responsible of developing business opportunities within the different PTD target segments and customer groups, architecting a global sales strategy and directing next step for implementation of regional/national sales programs and field sales action plans
- Revenue and profitability responsibility according to PTD- Business targets (P & L)
- Set, define, communicate and enforce the businesses KPl’s and subsequently, define data-driven actions in order to consistently optimize the businesses‘ commercial performance as well as the sales processes
- Implement the KPI’s reporting for the upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning
Requirement specification:
- Higher education in engineering or business administration
- 7-10 years of relevant sales experience in an international B2B environment
- Extensive knowledge of sales principles and best practices, and ability to coach and develop others on them
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to key details, and ability to multitask
- Strong leadership and team building skills. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Experience and knowledge about applications, customers and products in PTD an advantage
- Either native speaker or a high level of fluency in spoken as well as written English and German, other languages an advantage
- Very good IT skills, knowledge of CRM system and SAP an advantage
- Willingness to extensive travel activity worldwide (up to 50%)
